Pupils who use the internet to revise are more likely to achieve five A* to C grades at GCSE. Researchers from educational organisation KO Data Systems examined the effect of e-learning on the results of more than 11,500 Year 11 pupils. They found that those who used online revision for as little as two hours were more likely to achieve five good GCSE grades than those who had not used e-learning. Two-thirds of pupils who used e-learning scored five A* to C grades at GCSE, compared with 43.5 per cent of those who did not study online. Pupils with a key stage 3 score of level 5 or above were 20 per cent more likely to do well as a result of e-learning.
