Many kids are obsessed with the kind of scientific explorations possible with tins of baked beans and bits of string, hairpins and a jam jar. This is a collection of simple science projects. It describes itself as a “semi-scientific cookbook of ticks, gimmicks, and pointless experimentation, concoctions and devices, usingI things found around the house.” But it warns some experiments are dangerous and should not be attempted.
