Professor Tim Brighouse, commissioner for London schools, said: “The Challenge depends on the capital being seen as the place to teach in the country. We are fortunate to have a group of brilliant teachers who commit substantial chunks of their career to the future of the capital’s children.
We need more to join them.”
Buses will travel to the show calling at a minimum of three pick-up points in each of the 33 London boroughs, which will be situated close to Underground stations or schools.
Once on board, visitors will be able to ask questions and get advice on key issues in information and communications technology from experts travelling on many of the buses.
The Education Show London will run alongside the Special Needs London exhibition. The two events will enable visitors to get advice and guidance from around 200 education suppliers, representatives of the Department for Education and Skills and Teacher Training Agency or from speakers at more than 70 seminars.
