Exam board Pearson has said students still waiting for their BTEC results should contact the organisation directly. This comes after Tes revealed that students at some centres did not receive their results last Thursday because of a delay, which Pearson said was due to colleges passing on required data late.
A spokesperson for Pearson said: “We are aware that some BTEC students experienced a delay in receiving their results and we understand the frustration this must have caused. We are working closely with the students and colleges involved to look into this urgently and provide their results as soon as we can.”

The organisation went on to say that hundreds of thousands of learners across England were awarded a vocational and technical qualification on Thursday, and the majority of the results were available by Friday. It added that staff were working around the clock with impacted students and colleges to solve the outstanding issues.
Delayed BTEC results
Pearson said it had experienced some delays as a few colleges and schools had submitted student information after the given deadlines. Pearson also said admissions service Ucas had indicated that, where applicable, university places for these learners would be held until the university received their result.
Anyone still waiting to find out their BTEC results should contact Pearson via direct message on Twitter using the @BTECstudents or @Edexcelstudents Twitter handles.
