STRIFE-RIDDEN Waltham Forest has apparently still to get the message about efficiency and value for money. In a noble attempt to ensure all its heads were aware of PriceWaterhouseCooper’s recommendations for the future of its education services, the council sent out the eport to every school. Unfortunately it was half the length of the original, mainly because only the right-hand pages had been photocopied. So there was only one thing to do, no doubt to the detriment of an office junior’s social life - do the whole lot again.
