Education Minster Hugh Henry found that the kids of Carlibar Primary in East Renfrewshire don’t lack imagination. Stopping in at P4 on his way round the new school the other week, he found the kids reading a book on Odysseus and the Cyclops.
Showing his teaching skills, the minister soon had the class answering his questions about the one-eyed Cyclops. “Where would he go to get his glasses, do you think,” Henry asked merrily.
“He’d buy a magnifying glass, sir,” came the reply.
