Clive Goodhead’s plea in the same edition, to allow the Office for Standards in Education to make changes “quietly ”, sits uneasily with the former.
If school self-evaluation is genuinely to be taken account of then our profession needs fighters outside the offending body who care for the negative impact that such a system has had, and continues to have.
