Give us a hand
An independent, self-contained and quick-thinking personality is shown in this script. The spacing and layout show good planning, and the simplified personal pronoun indicates a probing mind.
The elaborate signature slightly larger than the text means Ms Bubb makes an impact when meeting and greeting, but the full stop following it implies that she doesn’t want people intruding into her space. The continuity, where the letters are mostly joined, shows her need to start and finish fluently, although the occasional breaks show she is open to ideas that may emerge. Essentially, this is an educated hand, showing logic and intuition.
The firm left margin is wide, implying an interest in people, but the simplified and clear script, with little demonstration of emotion, shows that Ms Bubb is at her best working with them professionally. Personally, she finds it difficult to show feelings, particularly as they are near enough to the surface to make her vulnerable. She commits herself to someone only when the person is trusted, so her friendship can be taken as a compliment.
At workshe is clear about how she likes things done. Some triangles and sharp angles indicate frustration, but the consistent flow shows her ability to be busy and effective. She enjoys working with people on her wavelength, where communication is professional and challenging, and where there is mutual respect and loyalty.
Sara Bubb is a lecturer in primary education and a TES columnist This is the first time I have had my handwriting analysed and it is a bit disappointing. I could see myself in it but there was nothing specific, so I could see it applying to lots of other people. The bit about wanting to work with people on my wavelength, well that could be true of anybody.
The bit about not demonstrating emotion or committing myself to people is wrong - I make friends easily, and I’m a very demonstrative, touchy-feely person.
