School staff in Leeds could strike over plans to transfer local authority support for schools to a joint venture company, run by the council and a private partner. Support staff union Unison said it was consiering industrial action in protest at the plans, which were also opposed by the two largest teaching unions. The move came after teachers registered their
disapproval with a city centre march.
