People should have faith in RE

https://www.tes.com/magazine/archive/people-should-have-faith-re-0

The reported axing of staff and trimming of teaching time for RE (“RE doesn’t have a prayer after EBac omission”, 28 September) is a concern at present where religious illiteracy and limited interfaith understanding leave the field wide open for the growth of elements of fundamentalist fanaticism in our multifaith society. Surely a well taught RE curriculum in and for a multifaith society is crucially important, now more than ever?
