Write a diary for the day carefully identifying the start and end of each activity. Work out how long is spent sleeping, eating, travelling and so on. Record the findings in bar charts and pie graphs.
Design a new timetable for the class according to given requirements for time allocations per subject. Collect sets of timetables for bus, coach, or railway services. Plan journeys according to specific criteria, such as fewest stops or the shortest time.
Make a collection of different clocks and watches. Organise an exhibition to show the rest of the school. Write display cards and a tour guide. Use a digital camera to help produce a photographic brochure. Disassemble an old watch or clock. Find out how the mechanism works. Write or draw a storyboard or flow chart to explain the workings to others.
Create a dance based on the movements of different timepieces. Use the various sounds produced by chimes or a metronome to introduce specific rhythms.
