Its 54 pages provide heartfelt and well written advice for teachers on humane ways to catch all the minibeasts they could possibly need for primary science (and secondary) work. Common creatures such as worms, slugs, snails and woodlice are covered as well as the less common “false scorpions” and mites. The book is clearly written and well illustrated so that even the most ham-fisted creature catcher will have success.
