- St Mary’s Duntocher Primary in West Dunbartonshire has won the Scottish European Educational Trust’s Euroquiz final, which was held at the Scottish parliament and involved 30 P6 teams. The quiz, which aims to develop pupils’ knowledge of Europe and the EU, involved almost 1,500 pupils from 370 schools.

Geography
- Dollar Academy junior pupils raced against the clock this month to complete the largest map of Scotland ever made. Mapland Scotland is a 10.8m x 7.6m, 180-piece jigsaw puzzle showing the country as a 1:50,000 Ordnance Survey map. Pupils also undertook various tasks to test their knowledge of Scotland.
