The Institute for Apprenticeships has launched a consultation on three T-levels qualifications for the construction and digital sectors.
Draft content has been developed for the technical qualifications in: on-site construction; building services engineering; and digital support services. These subjects are due to be introduced in 2021 - a year after the first set of subjects will be brought in.
The institute is now seeking views on them from stakeholders, including employers, awarding organisations and providers.
T levels ‘can transform technical education’
Sir Gerry Berragan, chief executive of the IfA, said: “The content for these exciting new T levels has been carefully designed by panels of industry and professional employers.
“We are now seeking feedback from everyone interested in helping to ensure that T levels lead the way in transforming the public standing of technical education, while also serving the skills needs of the UK economy for generations to come.”
