There’s just time to apply for your key stage 2 or 3 pupils to work with a series of professional writers over three years, mostly funded by the Paul Hamlyn Foundation, which is working with the National Association of Writers in Education to research the benefits of partnerships between writers and schools. Nine schools will be chosen to take part; in each, small groups of pupils will work with nine writers over the three years starting next term. The schools will pay pound;560 a year, which represents a small part of the costs. Email Liz Fincham for more details right away at l.fincham@nawe.co.uk. The closing date is June 30.
