Trevor Carson, the energetic rugby writer-cum-chief executive of the Learning and Skills Development Agency in Northern Ireland, has been forced to slow down a bit. Apparently, he went on a “booze and snooze” bash at a plush hotel just before Christmas and got a bit carried away on the dance floor to I Can’t Get no Satisfaction. Sadly, his 52-year-old Achilles tendon was ruptured in the process.
Now TC is in plaster and being ferried around by workmates as he does his rounds in the province. Get well soon, Trevor.
