The newly expanded Manchester Art Gallery is celebrating its opening tomorrow with storyteller Hugh Lupton recounting Tales of Wisdom and Wonder. On Father’s Day, June 16, two to five-year-olds can bring their dads to create poetry. Publisher Barefoot Books will show artwork from its picture books in an exhibition for families, with children’s workshops from September 21, and in October theatre director Jatinda Verma will launch Barefoot’s The Story of Divaali with a workshop.
