Love it or hate it, the most romantic day of the year is upon us again - and teachers have been getting into the spirit with some rather inventive edu-themed chat-up lines.

Mr Rogers tweeted last night: “Valentines tomorrow. Competition time - best edu themed chat up lines please.
“I’ll start: 1. You remind me of an OFSTED report ... outstanding in every category. 2. Our love is as deep as an OFSTED dive. I could go on.”
Among the romantics sharing their heartfelt messages have been quite a few familiar names, including Ofsted’s deputy director of research and evaluation Daniel Muijs - who attempted to make cognitive load theory sound romantic, author Lucy Rycroft-Smith, and Tes’ own Sarah Cunnane.
