A SCHOOL once reputed to be the worst in Britain, now one of the most improved, is offering pupils cash rewards in return for good attendance. Pupils at the Ridings School in Halifax who do not miss a single day next year could earn up to pound;80. Headteacher Anna White, who introduced an incentive scheme which meant pupils with a full attendance record for the last half-term won a pound;5 bonus, says it has proved beneficial.
