Reading, World Book Day, Twitter, Top 10

Reading is more than a hobby; it’s a chance to escape, to follow heroes and immerse yourself in adventure, to believe in magic again.

We all have that one book that encapsulates that magic for us, whether it’s Emily Bronte’s Wuthering Heights, Harper Lee’s To Kill a Mockingbird or any one of JK Rowling’s Harry Potter series.

On World Book Day, we wanted to hear about which book that was for teachers. So, we asked people to send us their top tome’s title via Twitter.

The Tes newsroom found it difficult to choose just 10 responses from the hundreds of brilliant replies we received. But we persevered - you can see our favourites below. If you want to see the rest of the responses - or contribute to the list yourself - search for #WorldBookDay and @tes on Twitter.
