Summer has come and gone. And with its departure, the nights draw in as the mornings get shorter; paperwork piles up as everyone gets into the swing of the longest term. Amid the chaos, there can be little time for you, your colleagues - or anyone, really - to stop and appreciate the work being done in schools.
But there is a shining light in October - a day that serves as a reminder of the power that teachers hold and the esteem in which they are held: World Teachers’ Day.
