List Of 50 Schools To Be Revamped

A total of £1 billion is to be spent under the first phase of the government’s School Rebuilding Programme on revamping 50 schools, including primary, secondary and special schools, a pupil referral unit and a sixth-form college.

Over the next three to five years, the schools will either be rebuilt or refurbished, and will have new modern facilities, from classrooms and science labs to sports halls and dining facilities.

The government says the projects will help create jobs, apprenticeships and training opportunities in their areas.
