The winners of the inaugural Tes Awards for International Schools have been unveiled, with schools and staff from across four continents taking home awards.
In total, 13 awards were handed out, with six awards won by schools in the Middle East, four in Asia, one in Africa and one in Europe.

Best Use of Technology: Dulwich College Shanghai Puxi, China
Community Engagement Initiative of the Year: The British Vietnamese International School Hanoi, Vietnam
Curriculum Initiative of the Year: St Christopher’s School, Bahrain
Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Award: Dulwich College (Singapore), Singapore
Principal/Headteacher of the Year: Joanna Povall, Wales International School, United Arab Emirates
Leadership Award: Emma Dawson, North London Collegiate School Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Teaching Initiative of the Year: Frankfurt International School -Wiesbaden Campus, Germany
Specialist Provision Provider of the Year: Rainbow International School Uganda, Uganda
Staff Wellbeing Initiative of the Year: Horizon English School, United Arab Emirates
Student Mental Health Initiative of the Year: GEMS Wesgreen International School, United Arab Emirates
Sustainability Award: Dulwich College (Singapore), Singapore
Teaching Assistant Support of the Year: Hayley Langusta, Brighton College Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates
International School of the Year: Marlborough College Malaysia, Malaysia
Winners were chosen by an independent panel of expert judges formed of both school leaders and senior staff from the following major international organisations: Council of British International Schools (COBIS), International Baccalaureate (IB), British Schools in the Middle East (BSME), Federation of British International Schools in Asia (FOBISIA) and Educational Collaborative for International Schools (ECIS).
Colin Bell, CEO of COBIS, said: “The selection of finalists in the Tes Awards for International Schools has been fantastic. Seeing the commitment and innovation offered by these schools has been inspirational, encouraging and really characterises what international schools can and do offer.”
