Join the Tes news team as we discuss teachers’ fears that the GCSE and A-level grading process this year is not fair, as well as how parents and pupils have put teachers under pressure to change their grades.

We also talk about the wide range of approaches taken by schools to arrive at grades and what this might mean for results day.

And we discuss how scientists and academics have called for a halt to the controversial daily contact testing trials taking place in schools, with experts warning that the government is taking a “gamble” on safety.

Finally, we discuss Ofsted chief inspector Amanda Spielman’s appearance at the Commons’ education select committee, where she initially appeared to suggest that the sharing of naked images among pupils was not a safeguarding issue, although she later issued a clarification of her comments.
