In a recent article on Tes international, teacher Andy Bayfield discussed the importance of schools ensuring that the positive attributes they inspire in their pupils don’t overly focus on those that link solely to academic success.

Instead, he argued that ideals such as compassion, civility and integrity need to be given just as much focus, to ensure that pupils develop as well-rounded and thoughtful individuals.
