Concerns around school safeguarding have been put in the spotlight after the website Everyone’s Invited lifted the lid on the scale of allegations of peer-on-peer sexual abuse and harassment.
These concerns - about “rape culture”, misogyny, gender-based harassment, abuse and assault being normalised - have regularly hit national headlines in recent weeks.
The government has asked Ofsted to carry out a review of safeguarding policies in both private and state schools.
And it has now also emerged that the government has set aside up to £750,000 for a scheme aiming to clamp down on bullying including that of a “sexual” or “sexist” nature.
Strong opinions are being expressed by politicians and other public figures on “rape culture” and on school safeguarding more generally.
But Tes would like to know what teachers, heads and all school staff think.
