A Statement On The Future Of Fe

On 31 August 2021, Tes will stop its dedicated coverage of the further education and skills sector.

There will no longer be FE news coverage or comment online, and the same will apply to the FE feature in the magazine. Tes will continue to provide research and learning content for all in education.

As a result, after over a decade covering the sector across the UK, I will be leaving Tes at the end of the month.

Kate Parker has already moved into the Tes features team, where she will cover learning and teaching practice.

The thousands of outstanding news stories, features, profiles, investigations and podcasts we have brought you over the years will remain on the Tes website and continue to be accessible.

The Tes FE section still has three more weeks of the high-quality content to go. There are some excellent pieces planned, and results week will also be covered in the usual way, showcasing colleges and their learners.

There will be time for goodbyes at the end of August. For now, all I want to say is that I am grateful for the loyalty the sector has shown Tes FE over the years, and its support for the work we have done.
