The tension and excitement of a traditional results day do not exist to the same extent this year given pupils got their results before the summer break, but there will still be plenty to talk about tomorrow - not least the pass rate.
In this short video, Tes Scotland reporter Emma Seith highlights what to look out for as well as where you can find out what is happening on SQA results day 2021.
We will be live blogging from later today (Monday) and throughout results day on Tuesday. all Tes Scotland stories will be posted on our online hub with regular updates from the Tes Scotland Twitter account, as well as from Tes Scotland news editor Henry Hepburn and reporter Emma Seith.
Already, Tes Scotland coverage has included a look back over the events that led to this point, from the National 5s being cancelled in October, to former education secretary John Swinney’s decision to cancel the Higher and Advanced Higher exams in December. Then there was the post-Christmas lockdown that lasted until March for secondary pupils and the announcement in June that the Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA) would be replaced.

We have also published articles in the lead-up to results day reflecting on how pupils were assessed in 2020-21 and what can be learned.
Crucially the authors are those who experienced the alternative certification model first hand - senior students and the teachers and headteachers who have been supporting them all the way.
