Each slide shows the role of a classroom helper / monitor with space to put the name of an individual / pair of pupils. I uploaded a PDF file which will retain the fonts I used, and have also uploaded the original Powerpoint file so that you can change the slides to suit yourself / your classroom. There is also a Word file that contains blank pupil labels which fit onto the slides. My plan is to laminate the slides and the pupils’ names, display them on the wall and rotate the pupils accordingly. The superb border on the first slide was designed by Superkings

<p>An interactive way of teaching children how to improve and extend a simple sentence. Students use language resources adverbs, adjectives, adding ing or ed verbs, subordinate clauses, describing when/where/why to improve and extend their writing. I’ve taken advantage of the excellent resources uploaded by fruitrach(extending sentences - fruitrach) and adapted them to use with the The Hat - a sorting program available from Harmony Hollow - see link in Instructions document.
