<p>Explore word building for students with this Say It, Join It, Write It activity.</p> <p>Perfect for EYFS students who are practising word building with CVC words, this activity encourages the children to look at the picture, say the word, then look at the letters and join the ones that build the word.</p> <p>Students can then copy the word into the frame.</p> <p>Students can listen carefully to the sounds they hear in each word, as they look at the graphemes they can see in the ‘join it’ section. <p>This 20 page booklet contains all the RWI Green Words. (1.1 - 1.7)</p> <p>The aim of the booklet is to practice the spelling and writing of the words.</p> <p>Each sheet contains 6 words and 3 opportunities to trace and say each one. It also contains the checklist so teachers/parents can ascertain and keep an accurate record of when learners have accomplished learning each word.</p>

<p>Mark Making worksheets are the first steps when teaching children how to write letters</p> <p>It can help improve their fine motor skills can boost confidence to encourage using a pencil.</p> <p>To make the activity fun, have children choose a different colour pencil for each section. Sections can by cut out so children can choose any design they want to trace.</p> <p>This booklet also contains a full traceable alphabet, shapes and numbers that students can progress to.</p> <p>Using this resource with SEN children:<br /> This resource was designed with my ASD son in mind. They might have seen one of the pictures names written down and it gets them to associate different alphabetical letters with different images.
