<p>Two worksheets regarding converging lenses and using the ray rules to find the location and nature of the images created by them.</p> <p>Worksheet 1 - NOTES Ray diagram rules; the three rules are stated and students can annotate a converging lens diagram to illustrate that rule. I use this sheet for their notes.</p> <p>Worksheet 2 - WS Converging lens ray diagrams; allows students to apply the three rules to cases with five different object locations (with respect to the focal length of the lens - &gt;2F, 2F, &gt;1F, 1F, &lt;1F). Students then describe the nature of the image formed.</p> <p>Students will require supervision for the cases of an object at F, and between F &amp; the lens (a magnifying glass). This worksheet is a good opportunity for the students to apply the three ray rules, and is also a good teaching aid for the last two more difficult cases.</p> <p>I use this resource for the Light topic of IGCSE Physics.</p>
