This is a PPT helping KS4 students to write a Compare & Contrast type of essay (eg. for poetry). There is a preparatory lesson to understand what types of essay can be used for this Compare & Contrast task, with an explanatory video, but also with the acknowledgement of the Block Method using the Temple of Knowledge formula (from 5 paragraphs, downgraded for KS3 to only 4).
