These are a great bundle of resources, focusing on the sounds of CVC words. Find the initial sounds, the middle sounds and the end sounds, encouraging children to really listen to the sounds in the words. CVC read and copy supports reading and writing, sounding out and blending the word and forming letters to copy the word, looking and letter and word shapes. CVC sound and spell activity is an extension activity which encourages children to look at the picture and say what they can see, sounding out the word for spelling. A lovely selection of activities to support phonics, reading, writing, spelling, speaking and listening for EYFS, KS1 and learners with SEN.

These are a lovely set of posters to provide a visual reminder of different prepositions. This is a gorgeous presentation, which creates a high level of engagement, motivation and participation from children. Encouraging child interaction throughout. Can the children beat the jungle animals to find the number that is one more or one less? This has been tried and tested on young children and they absolutely love it! Also included are domino type loop cards of more/less and worksheets which allow children to draw dots to show their understanding of one more/one less if number formation isn’t possible. This is a fantastic interactive display which has been designed for use in Year 2 or Year 3, but it could be used in other groups where a range of vocabulary is not widely used in writing. The idea of this display activity is to be used on a board at child height, allowing them to select a word from the relevant treasure box during their writing, taking it to their desk to support spelling. This has been trialled in a Year 2 class and it worked brilliantly well. This download includes all the treasure boxes with word cards, the diamond images and all the display letters, all to be printed and laminated to get the greatest effect.

We have included a selection of 9 different social stories to support children who may need a little more support in social activities and life skills. These have been created in child friendly language. Stories such as these should be read to children repeatedly, to help them in their understanding of different situations and events. These can be particularly helpful to young children and to children with additional needs (SEN) who struggle with social situations. Some children with autism can benefit from reading/listening to social stories to help them in their understanding. These gorgeous shape activities support learners with the knowledge of different shapes, using matching skills of various difficulties. The first set of Shape Flash Cards (3 pages) can be used to match to real shapes in practical activities, the names of shapes which are also included can also be matched to the cards, they can be used with or without shape names to check understanding. There is also a shape cut and stick activity (10 pages) where different sized shapes need to be matched and stuck inside a larger matching shape. The third shape matching activity(10 pages) matches the exact same sized shapes to each other. Great for SEN learners giving them different levels of progression.

EYFS, SEN & KS1 Read Trace Write sheets for Phonics Phase 2 CVC words. This is a lovely activity for children in their first stages of development in reading and writing. The activity includes clear, bright illustrations and photographs to support children in their recognition and sounding out of the words. The Phase 2 words shown on the cards should be sounded out and read first, then they can be traced by the learners. The letters and sounds which make up each word can be then written in the grids provided. Encourage children to also look at the shape of the words as this does help when writing the words themselves.
