Welcome to my shop! I love being able to help other teachers during the year when they have so many things on their plate.
I have taught both high school and junior high school science. I was also a scientist for a few years before I decided to teach. It made teaching very interesting and the students loved the stories.
I hope I have a little something for you all!

Students will create their own species. They will include:
Species name
Picture of species
Habitat which includes the species, predator, prey, a symbiotic relationship, biotic factors, and abiotic factors.
Food source and picture of food source.
Interesting facts about the species
Students will create a species and habitat for their species to live in. They will list the food source and important information about their species.
Includes multiple versions of rubrics and an editable PPT rubric.
You will receive an activity where students will compare photosynthesis and cellular respiration by looking at the equations, products, and reactants of each process.
**Answer key included! **
Students will:
Write the equation of both photosynthesis and cellular respiration.
State which are products and reactants.
Explain where the reactants come from.
Explain what happens to the products.
Students will describe and draw the phases of the cell cycle. They will also label the centrioles, spindle fibers, chromatin, chromosomes, and chromatids.
I also have a Meiosis Graphic Organizer available.
You will receive a PDF version of the Mitosis Graphic Organizer.
You will receive a controls and variables activity with an answer key.
This activity can work with individuals, in a group, or teacher-led.
There are 2 scenarios where the students will have to identify the control group, experimental group, independent variable, dependent variable, and conclusion.
Students will describe and draw the phases of meiosis, label the centrioles, spindle fibers, chromatin, chromosomes (single and homologous), and chromatids, state the total number of cells, and state whether the phase is haploid (1n) or diploid (2n).
I also have a Mitosis Graphic Organizer available.
You will receive a PDF version of the Meiosis Graphic Organizer.
