here is a resource i made from reading a few papers about common misconceptions in science.
it is blooms tiered with three versions of the sheet from a lower teir pupil to higher tiered pupils.
ENJOY!
let me know if you want anything changing/or how you improved this resource.
A lesson I have used and editing over time making it more challenging and interactive for pupils, there are extention and stretch tasks involved and lots of “to do” activities around the theme paying for energy including life skills on reading energy bills and what they mean.
hope you enjoy it!

I have used and adapted this over time for bottom, mid and high ability pupils there are extension activities to push pupils on most slides for those who can, and easier scaffolded activities for pupils who will struggle, there is proof reading and SMSC built in to the lesson

I have used and edited this resource over time to the needs of my pupils and from finding what works and what doesn’t. it has extension questions on most slides to stretch pupils who can do more and is scaffolded right down to the pupils who may struggle. There is also a worksheet that is tiered for pupils to use.
Enjoy the two resources!

Hi, thank you for looking at this resource.
This is a lesson I have used and edited over time making it more challenging and interactive for pupils, there are extension questions on many of the slides as well as differentiated learning criteria which are hit throughout the lesson which gets progressively hard, this has been adapted for on-line learning and comes with a worksheet that is supported by teacher input but mostly in put from the power point, so giving the power point and the worksheet to pupils working from home can help them achieve the expectations of the work very well.
I hope you enjoy this resource.

I used this format for my low ability pupils entering into GCSE where the worksheet can be given back to them as notes as they begin their GCSE in the following year.
I hope you enjoy this resource.

Power point i created and have edited over time to make better for my classes, it supports both low-mid-and high ability pupils, with key words shown on every slide and extention questions given on most slides, to push the higher pupils more. There are a lot of guidance and free thinking areas with the answers given to activities for green pen marking.
Hope it helps!
