Topic : GCSE chemistry - all exam boards
IGCSE chemistry
There is a powerpoint that explains the difference between exothermic and endothermic reactions. There are plenty of visuals for students.
I have included bond-energy calculations on the powerpoint along with solutions.
The worksheet attached helps students practise exam questions.
Equation of motion is part of Forces unit.
Students need to be able to use the acceleration formula and manitpulate it to find initial velocity, final velocity as well as time.
I have linked the lesson to Formula 1. Teachers can show short video as starter, lead a discussion in what makes the car super fast and how engineers are always trying to make the car fast.
Students can be encouraged into researching careers in F1.
I have attached markschemes so peer marking and feedback is instant.
Students really enjoyed this lesson and almost all of them made fast progress with this lesson.
