This Year 1 science resource gets children out into the local environment to discover all about wild plants. After a simple recap about wild plants, children will explore their local environment, go hunting for common and familiar wild plants, tally their findings and answer simple questions about their findings. Children will learn useful topic-related words, be posed interesting questions (Think-lets), follow guidance through highly structured teaching slides (Teach-lets) about the challenges they are about the take on.
