EDEXCEL A Level Spanish - Unidad 3 (El impacto turístico en España) Bundle
A bundle of all the lessons and resources I have planned, created and adapted for Unidad 3 (El impacto turístico en España).
This bundle consists of 8 lessons designed to cover the key grammar and vocabulary of the unit. All lessons include a starter activity, optional homework, a variety of activities and interactions to engage the students, and could potentially be stretched and divided into further lessons.
The lessons are as follows:
Lesson 1 - El impacto turístico en España
Objetivos:
Examinar el impacto del turismo en España en los últimos años.
Repasar y practicar el pretérito y el imperfecto

Objetivos:

EDEXCEL 2024 Spanish Module 2 - Set of Vocabulary Tests
I have a prepared a set of simple vocabulary tests for each of the units of Módulo 2- Viajes. These can be done at the start of a lesson taking no longer than 3 minutes.
These contain 20 translations each - see preview images for an example of one of them.
You can also look in my profile for free vocabulary sets and QUIZLET links for the students to revise in-between lessons.
Spanish year 8 - Introductory Lesson (NCELP focused) - Why study Spanish?
The very first lesson of the year with the new year 8s.
I have labeled it as “NCELP focused” because it is the scheme of work that my school follows and as such there are a few slides throughout introducing students to the homework model followed by NCELP (flipped learning).
The lesson begins with a simple activity of chain introductions, and setting up classroom expectations (can be altered or removed altogether as desired).
Throughout the rest of the lesson the students are given a brief presentation about the importance of learning Spanish, are introduced to classroom commands in Spanish through a fun “Simon says” game and are tested on their knowledge of content covered in year 7 through are a variety of grammar/vocabulary activities on topics they should have covered throughout y7 - this is recap of previous content and mainly covers greetings, numbers, months, family, countries/nationalities and moods!
Additionally, there is also fun quiz about general Spanish cultural knowledge that the students can do in pairs/groups as a competition. The lesson finishes by assigning the students vocabulary learning homework to prepare students for the first NCELP lesson (following their flipped learning approach).

French year 7 - Introductory Lesson (NCELP focused) - Why study French?
The very first lesson of the year with the new year 7s.

To be able to use the near future tense.
Lesson 2 - ¿Tienes planes para el fin de semana?
Learning objectives:
To be able to use querer and poder to talk about plans.
To write a short paragraph about your plans for next weekend.
To be able to plan a cinema visit.
