A list of wider listening pieces for each area of study for Edexcel GCSE Music (15 for all with you tube links except Fusions where there are 10). A focus sheet where students must research the context and listen to key musical elements in the piece of music.

There is also a composition guide with step by step instructions so students can complete the tasks at their own rate.

Key stage 3 music steps which have been created using the new 1-9 scale. There are 4 strands: performing, composing, rehearsing and listening and appraising.
There are student friendly steps as well as statements that can be used for reporting purposes.
A3 sheets can also be used as a tracking tool by dating when each step has been achieved.
Revision bookmarks including key terms for different styles of music and elements of music.
They are different level (A2 bookmarks include much more detailed and more complicated harmonic terms).
They should be printed and cut up so students can have a paper clip pack each. They can then be referred to for listening questions and when completing essays.
