Maths Intervention/Booster A Maths booster/intervention that can be printed off to create a booklet of activity worksheets for Early Years and Key Stage 1 children. The PowerPoint covers five weeks and covers a range of activities including number writing to 5 and then to 10, missing numbers, number recognition and representation using pictures and addition and subtraction using numbers to 5 and then numbers to 10. I have used this activity to support children with their understanding of number and addition and subtraction and it has helped to boost their confidence when they return to class. Teen Numbers Lesson A complete Maths lesson for introducing teen numbers in a step by step manner. During the main input children practise making teen numbers and can practise writing the number sentences for teen numbers. Children then have to identify numbers - this encourages children to explain their thinking. This Maths lesson includes three differentiated teen number worksheets and a plenary. Aimed at Early Years and Year 1 children however could also be used as a booster or recap for Year 2 children.

Play Notes on the Ocarina A music activity to help children to learn to play the notes on an ocarina. Each slide shows a different note and explains how to play that note. The notes have all been given names to help children to remember them. The final slide shows children how to play the first line of Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star using the Ladybird Ocarina notes. Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star A music activity to help children to learn to play Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star on the ocarina. The children first practise playing the different notes with each note having a name to help children to remember them. Children then practise playing the first line of the song on their ocarina, then the first two lines followed by playing the next two lines and then playing the whole song. **A set of three complete Maths lesson for counting in 2s, 5s and 10s. ** Each lesson shows children how to count in twos, fives and tens. Children then practise counting in twos, fives and tens, identify missing numbers counting in 2s, 5s and 10s and count sets of objects in 2s, 5sand 10s. Each lesson includes differentiated worksheets and a plenary. Aimed at Early Years and Year 1 children however could be used as a recap or booster session for Year 2 children.

Kindness A presentation aimed at Early Years and Key Stage 1 children about kindness. The presentation explains what kindness is and how it makes people feel. The presentation asks children to think about how to show kindness and provides some ideas for how we can show kindness to each other. The presentation also explains that we can show kindness to the world around us and gives examples. The presentation could be used as an assembly or during a PSHE discussion or lesson. There are also 3 worksheets for children to complete as a follow up to an assembly or during a PSHE lesson. The worksheets cover thinking about things that we can do and say today to show kindness, thinking about how to show kindness in different situations and creating a poster about kindness. Apologising A PowerPoint presentation focusing on apologising and saying sorry. The presentation covers why we need to apologise and how it makes others and ourselves feel if we do something wrong.
