This revision mat covers the AQA combined science energy topic and was designed for use in end of year revision for year 10 students but could easily be used for higher ability year 9s. POINTS PURSUIT is a gamified revision strategy that can be integrated with any rewards system of your choosing and is a nice way to increase competition. Questions start off as low demand at the top and then progressively increase in difficulty as students move down the sheet - please note that I have used this with higher ability classes and many students have started at the bottom to gain the most points and then worked their way up the sheet as an effective strategy. I usually complete a sheet under a visualiser and have students swap sheets and coloured pens then follow along to reduce my marking :)
