Comparatives are necessary when students are studying the Key Stage 3, GCSE and IGCSE programme. This powerpoint depicts and explains the formation of comparatives in general. It starts off depicting very basic examples such as using numbers and then progresses onto more complex material. This powerpoint is designed towards native French speakers and gifted and talented students. There is a quiz at the end of the powerpoint based on general knowledge.
There is also a lower level differentiated version available for students of a lower ability.

This activity is designed for students who are studying two languages at GCSE/IGCSE level and also who are learning dates for the first time. This resource is also geared towards native French speakers who are studying Mandarin Chinese.
From my own experiences as a language practitioner, children really enjoy playing battleships and it is an excellent way of practising French vocabulary and grammar.
This pack contains the following eight board games:

This activity focuses on the time around the clock in between intervals, i.e. seventeen minutes past four, twenty-three minutes to three, etc. It also incorporates the verbs ‘partir’ and ‘etre’ in the present tense, forming questions using ‘est-ce que’, alongside the distinction between ‘a quelle heure’ and ‘quand’.
