This presentation is designed to be used alongside the extract from Labyrinth by Kate Mosse used in the November 2017 AQA GCSE English Language exam. It reviews how to approach the reading of a new text, how to approach Question 1 quickly and efficiently and how to approach question 2. It also includes some sentence prompts for Question 2 to help learners construct their response.
