We aim to reduce youth violence and substance misuse by working with young people aged 5 – 11 and helping them make safe and confident decisions in risky situations. We believe every child has the right to understand how to manage risks and recognise the consequences of their choices. We have developed a range of prevention education programmes for students from Year One to Year Six. Our initiatives take place in schools, community groups, sports clubs, and any other places where young people gather. Our materials build on previous learning, ensuring that young people understand age-appropriate risks, know how to make good decisions and know where to seek help. Our programmes are developed or rewritten based on young people's needs and those who look after them.
