This is designed to look at giving an overview of periodic and oscillating sequences. This can be used to meet the “other sequences” aspect of the English National curriculum. It would be anticipated that students would have already covered geometric progressions. This lesson was designed to meet the Stage 9, Unit 13, Other s Sequences objective in the complete maths curriculum. The powerpoint is designed to give an example problem pair followed by 6 consolidation questions as well as a key vocab page for both periodic and oscillating sequences.

This has been created as a warm up sheet for the Maths IGCSE 2024 Edexcel Paper 2 sheet. It has been created using topics which did not come up on paper 1 and from high frequency/likely/possible paper 2 topics. Includes seperate but overlapping work for foundation and higher.
