A taster lesson for Year 6 students on transition day to the secondary school but could be used with Year 7. Conti’s MARSEARS approach is implemented. There is a strong emphasis on speaking, focusing on phonics, practising vocabulary and becoming confident through speaking activities and games. Higher level vocabulary from KS4 has been used to stretch and challenge pupils. Objective & Starter.
