A simple exercise that I use as a link between our fiction and non fiction creative writing work . I used it to help students pick apart how they make language choices when crafting their sentences. The step by step approach allows higher ability to excel and supports those who may struggle with such activities. I use it when we transition from Gothic fiction to non fiction Jack the Ripper.

Cybersecurity symposium
“ETHICS, MORALITY AND PRIVACY IN CYBERSPACE – JUST BECAUSE WE CAN SHOULD WE?”
We held a symposium that addressed the philosophical questions we should be asking when we consider new developments in computing. We held this as a one day event with another school and invited speakers and experts to deliver to the students and then they had to present back and were judged on the quality of their ideas. However these resources could be delivered in class over several sessions. I have provided our original documents for the day and all the resources.
