IMPERIAL & METRIC CONVERSION TABLE

IMPERIAL & METRIC CONVERSION TABLE

(2)
I have no idea if this will be of any use to anyone in the community but I have enjoyed putting it together so it has not really been a total waste of time! The first sheet in the file gives you an automatic metric measurement of length converter, simply enter the figure you want to convert into the appropriate box and the converted figure will appear. I have also included printable sheets of conversion tables for inches to centimetres, feet to metres, kilometres to miles etc. If you wish to take advantage of the automatic converter you will need to use the spreadsheet but the PDF version may be used for print-outs if you prefer this format. I have now added as requested an additional file with printable sheets converting part inches to cm & mm.

THE CRUCIBLE CHARACTER PUZZLES

(1)
This file contains one criss-cross puzzle and one word-search, both using characters who appear in Arthur Miller’s play, The Crucible. In the criss-cross puzzles the student will be asked to name the characters from the clues provided, and then enter these into the matching squares in the numbered grid. In the word-search puzzle the student has to find in the grid all the characters listed. For both puzzles, there is a printable sheet for the student and a solution sheet for the teacher. As usual, to make the answers easier to locate in the word-search solution, I have highlighted the first letter of each name in yellow, or orange when the letter begins two names running in different directions. I regret that I was blissfully unaware of the unfortunate typing errors recently brought to my attention but am pleased to report that these have now been duly corrected, at least, I hope so! I apologize for any inconvenience or disappointment this may have caused.

ADDITION & SUBTRACTION WORKSHEETS - 2 DIGITS
PUBLICSECONDARYPUBLICSECONDARY

ADDITION & SUBTRACTION WORKSHEETS - 2 DIGITS

(0)
In the first file I have created 56 random lists of two digit addition questions, all resulting in only two digit answers and none of which include carrying. The second file contains 150 random lists of two digit addition questions, but this time they all involve carrying. There are two types of printable formats, the first intended as a question sheet asking the pupils to write the answers as sums into their exercise books. With the second version the answers may be written directly onto the worksheet. Once you have chosen which version you want to use, enter a list number in the yellow box to produce an A4 sheet of 12 questions - the yellow box and surrounding area will not be displayed in the print-out and I have left the title cells unlocked so that you may re-name if required. I have included numbers list sheets allowing you to highlight each list every time you print a newly generated question sheet, making it easy for you to keep a record of the lists you have already used. There are also answers sheets. For those who would prefer the convenience of having all the sheets immediately visible and ready the print, or simply do not like Excel, I have now added PDF versions. I have also included 56 worksheets of Two Digit Subtractions. If these are favourably received I will be happy to do the same with those worksheets that involve carrying. pssg1955@gmail.com
