A set of 22 revision dominoes for the OCR Later Tudors course. Can also be used for any course covering the Mid Tudor Crisis and reign of Elizabeth I. Really useful as a starter activity - hand one domino to each pupil and have them read out the date, the pupil with the corresponding event reads this out and then reads out their date. An essential timeline for the new AQA GCSE topic: Restoration England, 1660-1685. Included are the key dates and events from the text book and from wider research (that top level students will be expected to carry out). This resource can be used for reference purposes, revision or mini tests in class time.

Two resources for teaching the Second Dutch War as part of the new AQA GCSE topic, Restoration England: 1660-1685. Included is a summary diagram of the Second Dutch War to get pupils understanding the major battles and why both sides were victorious/defeated at each stage. Also included is an in-depth look at the Medway disaster. The handout covers the causes, events and results of the raid; a clear map has also been included to aid students (source: WikiCommons). This resource is intended for revision (it is much simpler to follow than the text book); however, it could also form the basis of a lesson activity. Students could answer questions on the content and stick the sheet into their books.

Two worksheets for KS3/KS4 to encourage students to analyse/evaluate visual sources. The content relates to the Suffragettes and the sources show the Women's Suffrage movement in a positive and negative light. Students are tasked with describing the sources, picking out key symbols and inferences. The grid would be a useful group activity where students can analyse the pictures in groups and rotate these every few minutes; the postcard task can then be set for homework.

A task to improve students' knowledge of Microsoft Word; this is ideal practice for the OCR CLAIT Qualification. Students are presented with a piece of text on the history of the goldfish. They must follow the instructions to format and edit the document. I have provided an answer sheet which shows the finished product; students can compare their work with this at the end of the task. Students are asked to cut and paste; insert text; find and replace text etc. An extension activity could be to get students to create their own instructions for a partner to follow.

A fun task to consolidate pupils' understanding of heraldry. I used this with my Year 7 pupils alongside the KS3 text book by Aaron Wilkes. Students will need to be introduced to what Heraldry is before moving on to this task. They are provided with tables that detail the various colours/animals/symbols that can be found on Coat of Arms. They then have to think of their own and answer questions. Also included is a blank shield where students can design their own Coat of Arms with a motto (we used the tables for this, e.g. 'Honesty. Strength. Loyalty.'

A selection of exam questions based on the four chapters/sections of the Hodder Restoration England GCSE from AQA. Some of these have come from the specimen papers on the AQA website, whereas others have been created by me (DISCLAIMER: THESE QUESTIONS SHOULD NOT BE TAKEN AS A PRECISE REFLECTION OF WHAT COULD COME UP IN THE EXAM!) A worksheet with answers for anyone studying peacemaking and the League of Nations. This corresponds to the current AQA GCSE History B specification, however it can also be adapted for any board or age level. This task asks students to match Wilson's original 14 points with simplified versions of each. It then has extension questions on the points. Please rate and leave feedback! Source assessment on the murder of Thomas Becket. Quite challenging for Yr 7 pupils, so I would recommend going through one/two sources in class using the Analysis/Evaluation template. Included is the set of 4 sources, a template and a marking grid (that can be adapted to various other assessments). This can be easily differentiated by offering fewer sources or adding more descriptions to the sources.

A selection of materials for Tsarist Russia that can be used/adapted for the new specification. Materials focus on Alexander II to Nicholas II (1855-1917). This can be used for all exam boards.

An end of topic test on Ecosystems. Designed to coincide with the Geog.1 unit, however I'm confident that it can be easily tweaked to suit any unit on ecosystems. A revision worksheet and matching gap fill for anyone studying Hitler's Foreign Policy 1933-1938. This corresponds to the current AQA GCSE History B specification, however it can also be adapted for any board or age level. Please rate and leave feedback!

A detailed History Handbook that can easily be tweaked to suit your school's Department. Included is information on relevant policies and I have highlighted in red the things that will need to be tweaked/filled in to make this document relevant to your school. This is an extensive document (30 pages, hence the price) that took a long time to put together. I have left in marking grids and SOW that I feel could be useful. I hope this is helpful!

A challenging worksheet focusing on 'Earth's Story' and what order things first appeared on Earth. This was used as an introductory lesson in Year 7 Geography; however, it could certainly be incorporated into Science SOW on Evolution, or as an introductory History lesson on chronology! The first half of the worksheet is relatively straightforward; however, some students may need supporting with the final question (Earth's story as a 24hr clock) as it is a tricky concept for some to get their heads around.

Two worksheets on the formation of glaciers and the difference between erosion, transportation and deposition. These resources are to be used in conjunction with the Geog.1 unit on Glaciers for Year 7 pupils (however, it can certainly be adapted for other age groups). Also included is a revision song on glaciers to the tune of 'Merry Christmas, Everyone!' (It's a Glacier, Everyone! - It helped that it was Christmas time...) This is such a tricky topic to teach, so any opportunity to get pupils using the key terms is useful.
