Originally a simple booklet made for Year 7 trip to Paris. Could also be used for Paris projects where, perhaps, Parisian landmarks are researched or creative writing is done. Booklet is A4 but designed to be reduced to A5 by your clever repro' bod.

French Valentine card pro forma.

L’alphabet en français Learn the pronuncation of the alphabet in French A sheet to hand our and/project. The sheet explains how to pronounce the alphabet in French. It is useful as an introduction to the sounds as it has them underneath the letter. If you print this as a worksheet you can then exploit it with teacher-led speaking/listening tasks. The learners could learn to spell out their own names or even celebrities’ names.

Sixteen student phrases/questions and sixteen teacher instructions. Includes two sheets with each of the sixteen grouped on them in case you don’t have room on your wall: you could print student copies instead.

Qu’est-ce que tu fais le week-end? Weekend activities in French. Works on joue/fais/vais/lis. Good for cover. Simple reading/gapfill to consolidate first person verbs for free time activities. I suggest the learners write out answers in exercise books and lower ability learners can write on the worksheet. Includes answer sheet

Wall display for classroom language. May print smaller into booklets but not tried. Each A4 page is either a pupil question to the teacher or a teacher instrucion.

Writing frame to help write a description of your town in Spanish with plenty of vocabulary for support on the second page. Provided in PDF and Publisher format. A group work activity. Groups of six. No preparation, everything is ready to print. Only a _teeny-tiny_ bit of cutting up to do on the reading out loud bit! Each group has a sign - fold in half and display on each table. Explain each table before you start to the group and give strict time limits to start/finish/move round. I've done this with quite low ability groups and they love it. Dice required! If you don't have lovely, quiet, sponge ones, try a sandwich bag with cards with numbers on (could even be in French!) and they shut their eyes to pick one out. A three lesson (or more!) project for end of Year 7. Pupils are to produce a booklet aimed at the next year's year 7s to explain what they've learnt themselves throughout the year. An eye-opening, often fun activity: you'll see what they remember - or not - and where gaps are etc. Useful also for cover in the summer term!

Simple Mother’s Day card in French. Print double-sided to make an opening card. Has an alternative inside page without the word maman if any of your learners need this.
